I just returned from Italy and we didn't have internet access over there. It was a bitter sweet trip. Bitter obviously because I couldn't compete. That was really hard. I had tickets to go watch but knew it would be too hard. So Janson (my husband) and I just watched from the TV. It was sweet because I was there with most of my family, I got to tour Italy (Rome, Pisa and Venice) and... it was finally over. As strange as it might sound, I was just happy it was over. I had been anticipating going and then I wasn't, then I was, then I wasn't. So now, for the next few months, I look forward to assisting in coaching track and field at Utah Valley State College, playing golf,and enjoying life every day.
