Here's a Little About Me

I’ve spent years racing down icy tracks headfirst at 80 mph—but my journey hasn’t always been smooth. Before skeleton, I competed in Division 1 track and field, pushing my limits in speed and endurance. That foundation shaped my mindset, teaching me that success isn’t just about talent—it’s about grit, resilience, and the willingness to keep going when things get tough.
At one point, an injury nearly took me out for good, and I thought my dream was over. But I wasn’t ready to quit. With determination and faith, I fought my way back, and in 2014, I stood on the Olympic podium, holding a silver medal that represented every challenge I had overcome. That moment taught me that setbacks aren’t roadblocks—they’re just part of the ride.
Beyond competition, my greatest adventure has been with my husband, Janson, and our four amazing children. Together, we’ve embraced new challenges—including moving to Costa Rica to learn Spanish and experience life in a completely new way. That journey reinforced what I’ve always believed: growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones.
Now, I share my story with audiences everywhere, helping people see what’s possible when they push past fear, embrace the struggle, and go after what really matters. Because whether it’s in sports, business, or life, resilience changes everything.
